Today’s
society seems to make a strict point of putting harlots as heads of convents
and nuns as heads of brothels. By doing so, we become then incapable of doing
anything beyond reversing meaning and reality, as directed by the wishes of the
powerful or the delusional.
(Sergio Caldarella)
Knowledge
is like candles: when one is used to light another, it does not diminish the
light of the first. On the contrary, everything becomes brighter.
(Thomas Jefferson)
Traduzione: La
conoscenza è come le candele: quando se ne usa una per accenderne un’altra, non
diminuisce la luce della prima. Al contrario, tutto diventa più luminoso.
